Follow the sowing instructions below to get the most out of your flower mix!

Where
The best place to sow wildflowers is in a location where the sun shines for at least six hours a day. This can be a beautiful spot in the garden or in a pot on the balcony.
When
The best time of the year to sow wildflowers is from March to May. It’s best to sow on a dry or lightly rainy day. During heavy rain, there is a chance the seeds may wash away, and in bright sunlight, there is a risk of the seeds drying out.
How
- Prepare the seedbed by clearing it of weeds or other vegetation and lightly loosen the surface. When sowing on a former grassy area, it’s best to dig it up or, for larger areas, have it tilled with a tiller. The black soil can then be evenly distributed using a garden rake.
- For a completely clean start, allow the weeds to germinate, and repeat step 1.
- Follow the recommended seed quantity for optimal results, often around 2.5 grams per square meter. To be sure, check the information sheet about the contents of the packaging.
- For even distribution, mix the seeds with damp sand.
- Spread the flower seeds evenly over the seedbed.
- Gently rake the flower seeds into the soil without displacing much ground. This is easiest with a hay rake.
Bloom
Approximately 6 weeks after sowing, the first flowers will appear. This flowering period continues until the fall, allowing you to fully enjoy the flowers and all the life they attract.
